Shield™ Ceramic Base is a 2-in-1 Base and Color with a selection of natural-looking shades and good opacity. With a wear time of up to 28 days, it allows for nail extensions up to 2 mm as well as minor repairs.

The formula has a firm, gel-like structure that does not break even on long and soft nails. It retains its shape throughout the wear time.

The thick, non-drip consistency prevents it from running into the cuticles. It is self-leveling and allows for a perfect nail shape with a very smooth surface. Shield™ Ceramic Base can be used in two ways:

- as a thin layer,

- as a building base for more stability.

Shield™ Ceramic Base cures in LED, UV/LED, and UV lamps.

APPLICATION:

Prepare the nail: Carefully prepare the nail surface.

First coat: Apply a thin layer of Shield™ Ceramic Base.

Curing: 60 seconds in an LED or UV/LED lamp or 120 seconds in a UV lamp.

Shape the apex: Apply a thicker layer to sculpt the apex and cure again.

Sealing: Finish with a Shield™ Top Coat of your choice.

Pro Tip:

If you already know that you want to change the color next time, first apply a thin layer of Shield™ Rubber Base, cure it, and then apply Shield™ Ceramic Base. This allows the color to be easily changed later without having to completely remove the product from the natural nail.

Removal:

The material can be completely filed off.

Alternatively, most of it can be filed off and then soaked with an acetone remover until the product is completely removed.
