How to Apply Cat-Eye UV Nail Polish Correctly

For the perfect Cat-Eye effect, you will also need a magnet.

Step-by-Step Instructions:

1. Preparation
Prepare nails as usual (see above).

2. Base Coat & optionally color polish
Apply base coat and cure.
Optional: Apply a black or dark color layer and cure – for more intense effects.

3. Apply Cat-Eye Polish
Apply a thin layer of Cat-Eye UV Nail Polish (do not cure yet!).

4. Create Magnet Effect
Hold the magnet close over the nail (approx. 2–5 mm distance), without touching it.

5. Cure
As soon as the desired effect is achieved, immediately cure under the UV/LED lamp.

6. Seal
Apply top coat and cure.
Remove the inhibition layer with cleaner.

Removing Cat-Eye UV Nail Polish – Gentle and Professional

Method 1: Soak-Off (recommended)

Gently buff the surface of the Cat-Eye UV Nail Polish with a buffer file (100/180 grit).
Soak the polish with remover or acetone for approx. 10 minutes (e.g., with remover pads or soak-off wraps).
Gently remove the softened polish with a pusher or rosewood stick.
Afterwards, care for nails or re-polish.

Method 2: Electric File (E-File)

Carefully remove the Cat-Eye UV Nail Polish with an electric file.
Work with even movements to avoid damaging the natural nail.
Gently smooth residues and care for nails.

Care Tip

Regular application of nail oil strengthens the natural nail and ensures smoothness as well as natural shine.
