The Cover Base is a high-quality, pigmented base developed for covering and leveling the natural nail. It ensures a flawless finish and optimal adhesion – ideal for professional manicures.

Features:

• Not suitable for leveling long nails without prior reinforcement.
• Thanks to its high pigmentation, it offers excellent coverage of the natural nail.
• Hypoallergenic and almost odorless.
• Curing time: 120 seconds in the lamp.
• Can be gently heated to make the consistency more liquid.
• Due to its elasticity, minimal shrinkage may occur when worn.
• Requires a Rubber Base as an undercoat.
• pH value: 5–6.
• Recommended lamp power: 36–48 W (use only with original lamp).
• Can be easily removed by filing or with remover.
• Durability without chipping: 3–4 weeks.
• Elastic, flexible, and self-leveling.
• Optimal thickness at the free edge of the nail: 0.5 mm.
• Thixotropic – becomes more liquid when working with the brush.
• Medium consistency, does not run and self-levels quickly.

Application steps:

1. Remove old coating.
2. Do not shorten the nail shape or leave approx. 2 mm, which will be removed after building.
3. Lightly roughen the surface with a 220-grit file (without strong pressure) or use a 100-grit buffer.
4. Perform manicure.
5. Wash hands with soap after working with removers.
6. Degrease nails with Nail Prep LUNAmoon (apply twice, use a total of 4 pads).
7. Primer optional – only if needed.
8. Apply a thin layer of Rubber Base LUNAmoon as an adhesive layer (with a flat gel brush, massaging movements). Cure for 60 sec.
9. Remove dispersion layer.
10. Apply Cover Base for building and cure for 90 sec.
11. File the shape after building to ensure stability at the free edge of the nail.
12. Remove dispersion layer.
13. Seal with Top Coat and cure for 120 sec. Do not wipe afterward to maintain shine.
