REINFORCEMENT (STRENGTHENING THE NAIL PLATE):

• Remove old material.

• Do not file the nail shape or leave about 2 mm length – these will be removed after construction.

• Lightly roughen the nail surface with a 220-grit file without strong pressure to lift the nail scales. Alternatively, a 100-grit buffer can be used.

• Perform manicure.

• If working with removers, wash hands with soap afterwards.

• Degrease the nail with Nail Prep LUNAmoon – in two steps, with a total of 4 pads (1 pad for 5 fingers):

  1. Wipe the nail surface.

  2. Clean the cuticle area and nail folds with a wooden stick wrapped in a pad.

• Use primer if necessary – it is not needed if the base for the adhesion layer is sufficiently acidic.

• Massage a thin adhesive layer of Rubber Base LUNAmoon with a flat gel brush. Paint all nail folds, cure for 60 seconds in the lamp.

• Remove dispersion layer.

• Perform construction. When working with gel, leave 0.5–1 mm distance to the cuticle. Cure for 60 seconds in the lamp.

• After construction, file the shape to achieve the necessary thickness at the nail edge.

• If the natural nail is very thin, it can curl – therefore, file 1 mm of natural nail from below. This prevents the material from peeling off.
  If the material is very hard and the nail is soft, the natural nail can detach from the material at the free edge.

• After filing, remove the dispersion layer and coat the nail with Gel Polish.

• Seal with Top Coat, cure for 120 seconds. Do not wipe after curing to preserve the shine.

CLASSIC EXTENSION:

• Remove old material.

• Shorten nail to about 1 mm and file round.

• Lightly roughen the nail surface with a 220-grit file without strong pressure to lift the nail scales. Alternatively, a 100-grit buffer can be used.

• Perform manicure.

• If working with removers, wash hands with soap afterwards.

• Degrease the nail with Nail Prep LUNAmoon – in two steps, with a total of 4 pads (1 pad for 5 fingers):

  1. Wipe the nail surface.

  2. Clean the cuticle area and nail folds with a wooden stick wrapped in a pad.

• Apply Primer LUNAmoon.

• Massage a thin adhesive layer of Rubber Base LUNAmoon with a flat gel brush. Paint all nail folds, cure for 60 seconds in the lamp.

• Remove dispersion layer.

• Apply template for extension.

• Model the construction of the artificial free nail edge with transparent gel, cure for 30 seconds.

• File the free edge and adjust the desired shape.

• Remove dispersion layer and thoroughly remove dust.

• Go over the filed areas again with Rubber Base LUNAmoon, cure for 30 seconds.

• Apply builder gel, allow to polymerize for 10–15 seconds, then pinch.
  For very sticky or glitter-containing gel, pinch only after 20 seconds.

• Cure for another 120 seconds.

• Remove dispersion layer before applying color.

• Seal with Top Coat, cure for 120 seconds. Do not wipe after curing to preserve the shine.
