How to Apply UV Gel Polish Correctly – Step-by-Step Guide

For a perfect UV manicure and maximum durability, correct preparation and application are crucial:

1. Prepare Natural Nails

Shape nails with a file (100/180 grit).
Gently push back and remove cuticles.

2. Mattify and Clean the Nail Surface

Gently buff the nail plate to remove shine.
Thoroughly remove any dust with a cleaner.
Optionally, apply a primer for better adhesion.

3. Apply Base Coat

Apply a thin layer of base coat and cure under a UV/LED lamp.
Do not remove the sticky inhibition layer.

4. Apply Color

Apply a thin layer of UV gel polish and cure.
For opaque coverage, apply a second layer and cure again.
Again, do not remove the sticky inhibition layer.

5. Seal with Top Coat

Apply top coat and cure completely.
Afterwards, remove the sticky inhibition layer with a cleaner.
